Gone, But Not Forgotten

We remember our dogs even after they have passed.
They live on in our memories of good hunts,
strong points, and great wins.

"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You
owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

Domino
Resters Domino
Domino

It is with a sad heart that I announce the death of Resters Domino. Domino was run over in a freak accident. The old gal was a spry 13 year old daughter of Joe Shadow. She was aptly named for her unique markings by her breeder and first owners Cecil and Holly Rester. Domino had 10 field trial placements, but her forte was motherhood. Dom has 20 offspring with 49 placements and 4 CH/RU CHs at this time. Domino spent her days running loose at the farm and nights in the house. She was a fixture at my place greeting each visitor with her pleasant gray muzzled face. Domino loved puppies. Domino had one puppy out of her last litter but had enough milk to raise four pups from a large litter of my neighbors. She treated every puppy on my place as her own. She followed me while I roaded and oversaw all of the training sessions with the watchful eye of a proud mother. Her favorite thing to do was take puppies on a tour of the farm. She never left one behind, taught them all how to hunt, run the country and how to cool off when hot. Dom was special to me and I will miss her every day. She was buried outside of my bedroom window and also in my heart. Her legacy will live on through her offspring. Her daughter Baby Domino will enter her first field trial this weekend and I am sure Momma will be watching down on her. Goodbye my sweet gal, I will miss you...

Sam
Fouro One K

Sam will live on through the many memories we have together. God bless you Sam. I will miss your smiling face and gentlemanly eating manners. Sam always waited until a bowl was served and then sat down in front of the bowl and had a proper dinner. I will miss watching you eat, Sam. Most of all I will miss you taking a very big cast ignoring every attempt to reign you in, and then I belt out "SAAMMMIEE BOIIEEEE" and you'd be just where you should have been...

Sam

Tina
Tina

CH Ard Righ Justina

Tina was run over and killed during the running of the Mississippi Championship at Whippoorwill Farms.

Tina was a true all age prairie type dog with most of her winning done on the Canadian prairies. Tina finished 3rd in the Property Plains open all age in the fall of 05, the followed up with a win of the Manitoba Championship in the Fall of 05.

Tina won the Broomhill Open All Age in Fall of 06 qualifying her to run in the National Championship in 2007. Tina resumed her career in 2008 when she placed 3rd at the Prairie Amateur FTC and then she garnered another 3rd in the Benton County open all age in the fall of 2010. That win qualified Tina to run in the 2011 National Championship.

Dave Breslin gave Tina to me and she instantly became a member of the family. She ran loose in the back yard and slept in the house. She was loved and will be missed.
